   "Hi!  My name is Doug.  I was able to retire early, enabling myself to train on a wood lathe.  The types of logs I buy are specially milled and air dried for two to two and a half years.  I take great pride in my work, challenging myself everyday to create new varieties of pieces with in-layed work and without.  I have received great joy from my work.  Take a look for yourself!"

Doug creates a variety of pieces including pet and keepsake urns, platters, goblets, bud vases,  candle holders, and lazy susans.
